Thank You
May 6, 2009
Over the past 10 weeks, many of you have read about or heard me talking about the goals of the CARES and Sinking Fund proposals and their importance to the future of our community. I am pleased to report that both of these proposals were approved on May 5th. It is my opinion they passed because Saline is a community that values the quality of their school district. As the superintendent, it is humbling to serve where the citizens are willing to support their district – even in these difficult economic times.
Thank you for your continued support of Saline Area Schools.

Scot, Thank you and all of the staff for the enormous amount of time and energy you put into getting out the word on the proposals. You did a fantastic job! I’m sure you’re breathing a sigh of relief on the outcome.
Kudos to the staff of SAS…Everyone worked hard in getting the information to the people who live in the district. Thanks for keeping us informed on what was needed and why. Another great reason to live in Saline!
Scot,
Team Saline pulls through!
Kudos to everyone involved – truly a team effort !! The timing of the sinking fund couldn’t be better with our budget process in full swing. Thanks to everyone who voted yes to support our students in Saline Area Schools.
Wow! Thank you Saline! This is just another great examples of why Saline is more than a city – it is a wonderful, caring, hard working, and dedicated community. I love Saline!
Deb 🙂
Deb,
I totally agree! The community came together to continue the support for recreational activities and maintaining the District’s physical plant. The success of the millages will provide benefits to all community members.
